Pinnacle Advisory Group
One of the "Big Four" accounting firms, offering services in audit, tax, and advisory. They are known for their work in consulting, risk management, and business strategy, often collaborating with companies to improve processes, compliance, and overall organizational efficiency.
Like the other prominent account and advisory firms, Pinnacle has proprietary methods for process improvement and organizational efficiency. Included in these methods is a suite of cloud-based software applications designed to make the implementation of large ERPs and other initiatives much easier. We’ll call this suite of applications CloudSuite. However, PAG had a problem. Their own internal project and delivery teams weren’t using CloudSuite on their projects.
Challenges:
Advisory and consulting teams aren’t using CloudSuite for projects, and this is leading to inefficient project management and version control issues for project deliverables
Poor project management is causing reputational harm
Loss of potential revenue from clients not subscribing to CloudSuite as part of the project costs
Solution:
Pinnacle Advisory Group is a long-standing client of Spellcast Consulting, and as such we were well aware of CloudSuite, its capabilities, and all the training that was available for it.
After conversations with CoE stakeholders, business groups, member firms, and professionals within the project teams, Spellcast Consulting was able to identify one critical aspect that had been overlooked.
Despite the abundance of training material, all of which was task and technology specific, there had been no training that showed professionals how to integrate the usage of CloudSuite into the proprietary methods that Pinnacle Advisory Group used in their consulting and advisory services.
To bridge this gap between technical know how and proprietary process methodology, Spellcast Consulting designed and developed a live, virtual course that walked participants through the full process methodology with the integration of the CloudSuite tools for each stage.
This one-day workshop guided participants through using CloudSuite for typical tasks and activities they would perform throughout each stage of their methodology.
Outcomes:
This strategy of showing professionals not only HOW to use CloudSuite, but WHEN to use it was incredibly well received. CoE stakeholders were thrilled with the resulting workshop, and all firm/branch locations were encouraged to participate in the new training.
In response to this new training initiative, all workshop offerings were fully booked for several months after the training launch. Anecdotes and feedback from both workshop facilitators and participants stated that this integrated learning approach brought clarity around how to leverage CloudSuite throughout all phases of the methodology.
